OSI Warranty and Returns Policy
Optima Systems Inc. (“OSI”, “we”, “our”, “us”) provides 1-year limited warranty for all surveillance cameras, DVR Kits, NVR Kits, Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems and accessories purchased from our official webstore osigodirect.com
It’s ok to change your mind! If you decided you no longer need what you ordered, just ship it back to us for refund or store credit within 30 days from the day you received the product. Please note that the shipping fees will not be refunded and you will also be responsible for the return shipping costs.
If the product you received is not as described in the listing you may return the product for a replacement or get a store credit within 30 days. Please ship the item back to us and we will reimburse (store credit) you in full including shipping costs, as long as the item returned is in the same condition as it was sent to you.
During the warranty period if your equipment is deemed to be defective due to a manufacturing defect and you are issued an RMA (Return Material Authorization) from our technical support department, we will repair the item or ship the replacement product back to you. During the first 30 days, we will pay for shipping to and from your location on any warranty items. After 30 days, the cost for shipping the product back to Optima Systems Inc.(OSI) is the responsibility of the customer.
Should the Product require service under this warranty, you must provide OSI with a copy of proof of purchase in the form of the original dated bill of sale, receipt or invoice. OSI will not perform any of its obligations under this warranty without the required information as stated above. After the warranty period has expired, technical support services will continue to be available for a fee.

WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS
For a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase of your product from our OSI Go Direct store (www.osigodirect.com), or one (1) year from the date of receipt of your replacement OSI Go Direct product Optima Systems Inc. (“OSI”) will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any OSI go Direct products that malfunction due to defective parts or workmanship at no charge to you. This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original consumer purchaser. OSI may, in its sole discretion, make any repair or replacement with new or refurbished product or components. If the product or component requiring repair or replacement is no longer available, OSI may, in its sole discretion, replace such product with an equivalent product of similar features, functions and price.
WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
This warranty does not cover data loss, or costs related to data recovery. OSI makes no warranty that the software provided with the Product will function without interruption or otherwise be free of anomalies, errors or viruses. Damages due to natural causes (including but not limited to lightning, flood, tornado, earthquake, or hurricane) are not included in this warranty. This warranty does not include reimbursement for inconvenience, installation, loss of use, or unauthorized service. In addition, this warranty does not cover any losses, injuries to persons, loss of property or general damages. This warranty does not apply to any products purchased from third party online marketplaces. We strongly suggest that you do not buy OSI Go Direct products from any unauthorized sellers, as such products may be used, defective, counterfeit or may not be designed for use in your country. This warranty covers only OSI Go Direct products and is not extended to other equipment, components, or devices that a customer uses in conjunction with our products. OSI’s maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the OSI Go Direct product in question.
Defective items will be repaired or replaced free of charge if returned to us during the item's effective warranty period.
YOU WILL BE REFUSED WARRANTY REPAIRS OR PRODUCT REPLACEMENT IF:
- Products are dismantled, mishandled, improperly used or defaced
- Products are damaged due to improper working environment or operation, such as improper temperature, humidity, unusual physical or electrical stress or interference, failure or fluctuation of electrical power, static electricity, using wrong power adapter, etc;
- Products are damaged due to the violation of direction on safe battery handling and usage;
- Other use of the products beyond normal
