When adding OSI Gen 1 motion sensors and contact sensors to the OSI Gen 2 Alarm System, be sure to add them under the ‘General’ category. The ‘Entry’ category is reserved for OSI Gen 2 motion sensors and contact sensors. Keep in mind that the ‘entry open chime’ and ‘entry opened warning’ features will not function under the ‘General’ category.

    Easy to to order. Easy to install. Super support service from Raymond for some minor question and setup with Smart Life. So far very happy with my purchase. Really recommend it.

    Just installed a week ago. So far it’s great. Also have 3 camera and they are wonderful. I love the 8 hard wired zones so I can add some old permanent sensors I had on my garage doors. Also the ability to add more wireless or hard wired items later. Only complaint is the motion sensor blue led light is very bright when it’s dark out, but just something to get used to.

    The installation was fairly simple. I had some issues connecting to my internet but that was on my end which I resolved. Once connected the easy to follow instructions allowed me to finish install fairly quickly. Using it for 2 months now and everything works as advertised. I recommend watching the Youtube videos before just to be sure on what you are doing.

    We have owned a few professional alarm monitoring systems over the years. This one is so much easier to manage with the full featured smart screen. The door contacts took less than 15 minutes to install all 3 and program them. The 5 motion sensors took about the same time to install and program. We programmed some door contacts as door chimes and the other silent. We have certain peripherals set to arm when we are away and others when we are snug in bed. The staff were super friendly and even provided help beyond my expectation. All Canadian. I love this system.
